I should be writing a philosophy essay and reading for the same exam/or editing pictures and still here I am... confused, stressed and with aching eyes...

Monday was an interesting day since I had a little get-together with my counsler and we discussed my future. We discussed the possibility of me escaping Finland and studying in some far off country (Sweden, Scotland and the USA) and what I'd have to do and sacrifice... Then I got really scared when he told me that a few of the places that I'm applying to need the portfolios and essays in by next year November...
See - the Finnish university works after high-school: when school ends in Spring (5th of June...) the universities have their admittances and exams the same spring... And elsewhere - well they've got a different system...

So my plan of working a year and then applying to different colleges kinda went down the drain... And am now stressed out about a) my final exams in high-school 2) applying for SATs and TOEFL 3) Finding a job 4) Perhaps move out from home... which won't happen soon 5) working on my portfolio (which I kinda have planned but needs some... fine-tuning?)

Oh - and I turned 18 this Tuesday ... So Happy B:day to me...
(not happy 'bout that...)

And now I should get back to Kant, Wittgenstein and Nietzsche...
